Meet Your Captain/Guide
Meet DeTorney Rose, also known as “Big Shrimp”. Born and raised in Hanover, DeTorney has spent his entire life mastering the currents of the Lethe River. A certified lifeguard and former captain for major tour operators, he eventually branched out to offer a more personal, independent rafting experience. With a decade of professional captaining under his belt, DeTorney blends local history with a deep respect for nature. He is a true son of the river who turned a childhood passion into a 10-year career in Jamaican hospitality.
"We had a wonderful time on our rafting adventure" Our guide was Big Shrimp, he was full of energy, life and made the trip fun! We had a big group go and loved the Jamaican flavor of all the guides Juicy, Bell, Jerry, Big Shrimp, and Hard Ball they were so fun! They gave great massages and answered all our questions, took our pictures and provided all kinds of refreshments! It's a 10/10 adventure! I would do it again in a heartbeat, because i loved all the enery & beautifully decorated rafts with fresh tropical flowers and personalized service!"
